Scorpio is capable
of displaying one of two natures. They can be the scorpion and play
it down and dirty, or they can soar high above it all as the eagle.
Their powerful fixed nature gives them the deepest emotions, and the
desire to control and contain them. Scorpios never waver once they feel
strongly about something or someone. Everything they do is done passionately,
with absolute commitment, or it is not done at all. You will never have
a more loyal ally or a more devastating enemy than a Scorpio. Despite
their desire for victory they, always insist on fair play.
Scorpios have
great powers of perception and have a fascination with mysteries. They
desire to probe the innermost reaches of the psyche, to get to the root
of matters and solve problems. They can quickly see the purpose and
meaning o f things that come under their penetrating gaze. Scorpios
tend to tear things down for the ultimate purpose of building upon a
better base. However, even the best intentions can't help the feeling
of unease when it is your psyche that is the subject of their "remodeling".
Scorpios tend
to gravitate toward positions of authority and they know how to take
responsibility. But because they have such great reserves of personal
power and self-control they often find it difficult to allow for the
faults of others. This can lead to Scorpios being seen as domineering
and self-centered.
Positive Scorpio
traits include loyalty, discipline, gentleness, magnetism, independence,
insight, and amazing self-control. Faults include ruthlessness, fanaticism,
revenge, sadism, suspicion, jealousy, and self-hatred.
