Tom Gibbons, a co-founder of Utah Audio, maintains a strong technical background. Earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Software Engineering, Tom is an expert at applying technology to the control and integration of audio, video, and whole home systems. Besides being a technologies expert, Tom also has a deep understanding of and appreciation for fine audio/video systems. Owning his first stereo at the age of twelve, Tom has pursued audio/video excellence his entire life.
Being frustrated with the lack of true audio/video alternatives in the valley, Tom envisioned something better. With the help of his wife, Utah Audio was born.
Jin Gibbons has both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance. As a co-founder of Utah Audio, Jin brings a pragmatic discipline to the operational management of the business. Besides her technical strengths, Jin is passionate about audio/video systems and has a keen eye for contemporary design.
Jin is instrumental in determining the products represented at Utah Audio and brings a women’s point of view to the design aesthetics and industrial design elements of the Utah Audio product selection.
Emron Mangelson’s deeply rooted passion for the audio industry began at a very young age. Driven by his love for music – and in an effort to achieve better sound – he began designing and building his own loudspeakers at the age of twelve.
Emron’s first professional experience in the industry came at a young age when he began work for a high-end audio/video company in Ohio as their youngest professional installer. Over the many years since, he has matured in knowledge and experience and now enjoys his position with Utah Audio as a sales and systems design consultant. Nate is a 13 year veteran of the industry. Having worked for some of the finest providers in the valley, Nate has settled in at Utah Audio as our Install Manager. Nate is extremely maticulous and forces the entire team to continuously rise to the next level of professionalism and customer orientation.
Nate's strengths are many. He is a control systems guru, his knowledge of systems design is comprehensive, he possesses superior project management skills and is completely down-to-Earth. Nate takes deep personal ownership of our clients' satisfaction and our clients who know Nate rest assured when he is on the job. Also a veteran of the industry, Brad Langford is a lead installer, salesman and industry advocate. Brad's passion for audio, video, integration and automation is matched only by his willingness to do whatever it takes to implement successful projects and satisfy our clients.
Having worked for many of the premier providers here in the valley and having managed his own service provider business, Brad has a deep understanding of the industry overall. Brad's specialities are installation services and retail sales but being a generalist is Brad's true strength. We think the phrase "sink or swim" was developed specifically for Brad and we bow when he returns triumphant from the field having resolved a complex issue to ensure all systems are a go.
It seems in today's day and age, it is more urban legend than case in point that someone would actually grab a broom and start sweeping without being asked rather just because he had a moment and there was dust on the floor. Adam Ball is new to the industry. Adam has dabbled in many professions but always felt the longing to work within the A/V world. Adam came to Utah Audio with nothing but honesty, enthusiasm and a desire to work. It is refreshing, the opportunity to put the "hire for attitude, train for aptitude" principle into action.
Adam works for Utah Audio as a installation generalist. He is hard working and quick to learn. Our installation team relies on Adam's ability to ensure the work is ready to go.
