Mode A Heavy fire power, good choice for those working toward heave combat weapons. Only problem is that it takes 2 action points to use. Best if there is a line of enemies to target.

Rapid Fire Machine Gun

Mode A Full auto, multi-barreled machine gun, **The book has the modes backwards here** focus fire, one target is aimed at, cost 1 action point. Keeps pretty cool, I get this one as soon as I can.
Mode B Spread fire, can hit multiple enemies at a distance of about 5 or more I believe. Firing it close does not always hit many guy's. It does take 2 action points to fire in this mode so I don't recomend using it unless you can hit more than 2 guy's at a time, the only exception is if it is the last round of ammo. It only takes one round of amunition to fire in either mode.

Flame Thrower

Mode A Single flame shot, if the enemy is in range it WILL hit everytime however. The biggest draw back is the amount of shots available. In this mode one shot takes 1 round of ammunition. Ammunition pack is strongly suggested for use with this weapon.
Mode B Blanket a 3X3 area for the cost of two rounds of ammunition. An amunition pack is suggested for use with this weapon ASAP. The enemy will not cross the burning area. Excellent for defending a position. **In version 1.0 it will hold your enemy in place if you are playing in a multiplayer game. BUG?**

Plasma Gun

Mode A Shoots at multiple targets simultaneously always hits. Excellent for those time you feel crowded. One word of caution, it will hit anything, your men included. Watch that line of sight.
Mode B Stasis field around your troops protecting them from all attacks, the units can fire but not move, it also revitalizes exhausted units.

High Energy Laser

Mode A Infinite ammo Single shot Great range, keeps fairly cool, **The book say's there is no defensive mode. Better tell my guy's that** Overall a very good weapon.
Mode B Paralyse the enemy, or your guy's.
