SHRINE OF GODS
The Shrine of Gods can be accessed the easiest way by using the teleporter from New Sorpigal.
The teleporter is on top of the Buccaneers' Lair buildings. If you fly on the north ledge of
the building and face south, you will be teleported to the Shrine of Gods if you press SPACE bar and search.
If you teleport there a few times, you will notice that the dragons
will NOT attack once you teleport there. If you try hard enough you will be able to
walk into the shrine, go into Turn-Based mode and get all your characters +20 boosts and
then get back out.
How to get back out? After you entered the shrine, turn left and
search, you will enter the NWC dungeon. In the dungeon will be a big exit door, use it and
you will be teleported outside of the shrine of gods, now really quick, turn left
and run along the shrine wall.. search and you will be teleported immediately back to
New Sorpigal
NEED CASH?
The best thing for cash is to have a merchant NPC with you, they will
allow you to sell stuff for more money, and they will also help
lower the price for training and other expenses.
How or where do I learn skill XY or advance in it?
If you take a look at our page, the section called Training,
you will find a list of all skills and where to get em from.
You will also see what you need to do to advance in the skills.
Must one of my characters know the XY skill or magic?
No. Your characters do not have to know all the skills or spells, but it is highly recommended
that your party knows all the magics and skills. It most often is enough if each skill or magic
is known by one of your characters. Once you reach level 40, you will most likely get some additional
skills because it will be easy to advance your characters.
Can I go ahead and "clean up" a dungeon even though I didn't have a quest to do so?
Yes, you can. Quest items usually are in the dungeons and you can
take em without having a quest for them. However, some quest items
only appear after you have the quest.. so all you have to do is
go back in the cleaned-out dungeon and find the newly placed
quest item.
How can I see me party's Fame and Reputation?
While in the game, either click on the Quick Reference symbol in the lower
right corner, or press Z to open the Quick Reference. The screen that
will show up shows your Fame and Repulation at the bottom of the screen.
Note that Reputation is expressed in words and Fame in numerical values.
Which dungeon/city or quest should I do first?
As general rule, use the following order to complete dungeons and quests for
each of the 15 location in MM6.
New Sorpigal,
Castle Ironfist,
Mist &
Bootleg Bay,
Free Haven,
Silvercove,
Whitecap,
Mire of the Damned,
Blackshire &
Kriegspire,
Eel Infested Islands,
Paradise Valley,
Hermits Isle,
Dragonsand and finally
Sweet Waters.
Of course the game can not be strictly played in that exact way, because you might
need to first talk to a person from a different city before you can complete a quest
in another one. Or, as in Castle Darkmoor, you will have to come back later in
the game once you are strong enough -- near the end.
