Overview of hypothetic cause of Fibromyalgia
An imbalance in each condition negatively effects the dependent
processes that follow. The cumulative effect ultimately producing
the symptoms associated with fibromyalgia.
- An imbalance in Intestinal Flora inhibits
synthesis/absorption of B vitamins and other nutrients.
- Lack of B12 reduces/inhibits production of RBC’s.
- Fewer RBC's to carry oxygen
(O 2 )
results in tissue hypoxia.
- Reduced O 2
and cell is unable to produce sufficient ATP.
- Insufficient ATP, no fuel to energize essential cellular activity.
- Failure of enzymes to combine NADH and Pyruvate
to produce lactic acid during anaerobic respiration
builds up pyruvate and creates an acidic condition within the cell.
- Acidic cellular condition increases inorganic phosphates producing muscle fatigue.
- Acidic cellular condition triggers kidneys to compensate
with bicarbonate reabsorption alkalizing the blood.
- Alkaline blood carries less oxygen.
- Acidic cell condition causes pain.
- Acidic cell condition further interferes with ATP production.
- Low ATP levels disrupt restorative sleep.
- Lack of sleep interferes with production of hormones.
- The cycle continues further exacerbated by more stress, excessive exercise,
and non-restorative sleep.
