Rish Outfield's reviews
I liked the basic story of this movie, plus the fact that it was filled with English actors, but everything else I did not like. The pacing. The execution of the story. The lame scares. The odd bathing scene that contained no nudity followed by a sex scene that did the same. The explanation as to what was going on. The ridiculous introduction of one of the heroines and secondary villains, and their ludicrous return halfway through the film. The fact that the rules were made up as we went along, and some characters escaped situations much more deadly than the ones that killed previous characters. The length. The ending. Folks, I did not enjoy this movie at all. I know I liked it less that tyranist did. I was absolutely gung ho about watching a half-dozen horror movies in a single day, but after this baby, I would've given my left arm for a good night's sleep.
Best Scare: The young people sit down to watch a movie in a little projection room, and one of their party is attacked by a black & white character from off the screen. To be absolutely honest, it was a Laughable Scare rather than a legitimate one, but it's the only one that I'm able to remember.

The tyranist's thoughts
I believe that with this film completed, only Arbor Day remains without a horror movie. I kind of have mixed feelings about this one. I liked the premise and a lot of the bits of the movie, but now I'm sort of left with a blah feeling. The movie isn't overly impressive in any way and actually manages to be truly lame in a few places, but I feel a little pity for it and want to tell you it's good.
The core idea is that a bunch of teenagers (who look more like they are in their 20's) are chased out to sea by a bunch of evil carnies. They make it to an island where time has ceased to exist and the dead are coming back to make them miserable.
The more I think about it, the more I don't like the movie, but I remember enjoying it while it was on. Unfortunately, I can't think of a single remarkable thing. Too bad. Umm, see this one if you want, but it may cause amnesia.
