Rish Outfield's reviews
I really, really liked this one. For the VERY first time, I figured out who the killer was before tyranist did. This is my favourite kind of horror movie--the teen T&A slasher! This was fun, if pretty dumb. It had that totally cute chick Michael J. Fox had the hots for in Teen Wolf in it, what a babe! Once again, the fat guy is not only the most likable character in the film, but is also brutally mocked and murdered solely for being fat. Poor fat dude.
Best Scare: Hmmm, I don't remember.
I'd Recommend It To: Ditto.

The tyranist's thoughts
A refreshing break from the traditional films of this subgenre. Cheerleader Camp is actually somewhat creative and very entertaining. The filmmakers did a fine job of getting us inside the head of the main character and keeping us wondering if she was really capable of the macabre murders that were occuring. There were some little annoyances, but on the whole it was a fine effort.
My biggest wish with this one was to see justice. There were so many things that made me think back to high school and the whole life is so unfair world that I lived in. With this in mind, the movie finally serves justice up with a smile as the killer finally triumphs over a lot of social betters. The most confusing thing in the movie was how the two thirty year old men got onto the high school cheer squad (especially since one of them was about 100 pounds overweight). If you don't take this one too seriously it is a treat, if you do then I would compare it directly with Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. It isn't the finest movie you will see, but there are still somethings that work just right.
