The tyranist's thoughts
So how long has it been since we reviewed a movie in the venerable Jim Wynorski Slumber
Party Massacre series? Nearly three years? What were we thinking?
So there are a bunch of hot cheerleaders (are there any other kind in the movies?) and
they have to get to a cheer camp or somesuch. Naturally there's a psychopathic killer
on the loose in the same region. Even more surprising, he's not the one killing the girls.
Whoops. Gave something away there. Probably not important though since I don't know
anyone who ever watched a Wynorski flick for the plot.
Speaking of Jim, is there anyone working in B-movies these days more devoted to
T&A? Over the years his movies have consistently delivered what has been
advertised. Nothing more and nothing less. This one is no different.
The plot is paper thin, the script not really that good, and the acting isn't really all it
could have been. Luckily, none of those is what we watch these movies for. Instead
there are plenty of hot-chicks, occasionally naked, and most-often massacred.
If you are a fan of the series, then you will definitely want to run out and pick this one
up. If you aren't, nothing I can say will win you over once you've seen the decadence.
So, Jim Wynorski fans, and you know who you are, rejoice. Here's one more for the
ages.
