Rish Outfield's reviews
Oh boy. Look folks, can I be blunt? What King Kong is to monkeys, this film
is to pieces of shit. I don't think I've ever seen a more juvenile, poorly
written, horribly acted, awful waste of film and 70 minutes. I often hear
people rant about the evils of movie-making, the degenerate state of the
industry, and the valueless parasite movies are to society. Let's just hope
these guys never get ahold of a copy of Jack-O. It had NO redeeming
value--the characters were less developed than a Polaroid of a UFO, the
special effects worse than those in early silent film, and the would-be saving
grace--the nudity, was so vile and lecherous as to make ME feel dirty. I hate
this movie, and I hate myself a little bit for watching it.
Best Scare: None. The pumpkin-headed character was kind of cool in a shot or
two--but not in the rest.
I'd Recommend It To: Actually, I wouldn't.
The tyranist's thoughts
This is quite simply the worst horror film I have ever seen. To call it a B grade film makes it look better than it is.
I still maintain that there was no threat. I have seriously seen student film that was much creepier. The only thing left
to say is that the star is the director's little kid. Now you hate it, don't you.
