The tyranist's thoughts
What to say? I ran into this one about half way through my pile of Horror Movies Nobody Wanted and had my faith in
the good taste of man reaffirmed. I can see why no one would want this one. It just wasn't good.
I'll try to lay out the plot for you but it was pretty incoherent in the first place. Let's just say that they tried to
combine a ghost story with a devil worshipper story and pretty much failed. So there's this little girl who sees things
that aren't quite there and gets abused by her mother. Well she grows up and gets engaged to a photographer. He's a devil
worshipper based out of the building she grew up in, but she doesn't know that. In the end they just want to take her
back to her childhood home to kill her. And they do.
The acting is pretty bad and the dialogue is terrible. The music was annoying and the plot literally seemed to come out
of nowhere sometimes. They started with a bad idea and then didn't bother to work on it after that. It is actually very
true to form for a devil worshipper movie so you could probably rent either Wicker
Man or Spellbinder and be much, much happier.
Don't waste your time with this one folks. It will only bring you sorrow.
