Rish Outfield's reviews
Another Jeffrey Combs movie. One of the worst, though. The creatures were absolutely great! Everything else was pathetic. ESPECIALLY the story. I disliked this movie enough to put off reviewing it for more than six months now. Unfortunately, I've now forgotten just about everything.
But don't let that convince you that it was worth seeing. I may not remember if evil wins or not, but I sure remember it was a bad movie.

The tyranist's thoughts
This is supposed to be a Lovecraftian horror story. I admit that I haven't read "Lurking Fear," but I honestly can't see Lovecraft writing anything this bad. This movie totally discards character, motive, and back story in favor of just giving us non-suspenseful, crappy action sequences. I rarely recommend just avoiding movies entirely because I believe that there is almost always something a little worth seeing. There is nothing worth seeing in this movie. Even Jeffrey Combs seems a little sub par.
