The tyranist's thoughts
Adam West has become a sort of running joke in modern culture and it would have been hard to pass up a chance to take a look at him in what promised to be a bad film. I have to give it to him, he was the best thing about this movie.
There are some brutal, gory killings (not that we see the gore, mind you) going on and the police can't seem to figure out who's doing it. Gradually people start putting pieces together (much slower than you will no doubt) and a final confrontation happens.
Adam West plays an eccentric professor who seems to understand what is happening from the beginning but doesn't bother to actually tell anyone else until most of the way through the movie. His enigmatic presence is at least interesting, while everyone else isn't. The acting and dialogue worked together to make long stretches of this movie almost unwatchable. The basic premise isn't actually bad, they just can't deliver.
Skip it. Unless of course you're an Adam West fan.
