Why do I do this to myself?
It looked bad, it sounded bad, but I rented it anyway. In truth, I guess I was expecting it to be one of those bad movies that was bad because more attention was given to naked breasts and sex scenes than to the plot. But it wasn't even one of those movies. Well, it kind of was. It was like a Witchcraft movie without any nudity. Yeah, terrible.
An abused wife flees to her sister's house for sanctuary and ends up invoking the spirit of an empress in a voodoo ceremony. The spirit possesses her and she kills a couple men who want to have sex with her. Eventually people catch on and try to exorcise her (in quite an unusual manner I might add).
You only read this review out of curiousity, didn't you? Well, let me give you fair warning. This movie is not worth it. I don't care if you mistakenly think it has a cool title. You won't when the movie is over. Just walk away. Don't even think about it. Trust me you'll like yourself better in the morning. I can't say that this is the worst movie I've ever seen, but I will say that it is not fit for human consumption.
