Rish Outfield's reviews
Not a slasher film, really. I wouldn't know how to describe it. I saw this one because it got a high recommendation. I found it slow, amazingly poorly done, and Bee-Aye-Dee. The budget was non-existent, the special effects ditto, as well as most of the screenplay. There are a couple of moments that are creepy, but hey, your average episode of "Three's Company" has more. Lon Chaney Jr. stars, and he's good to watch...in something else. Really, this film has very little to recommend it, so I have nothing more to say.
Best Scare: No scares, really. Maybe when the hero is tied up and being romanced by his cousin.
I'd Recommend It To: Lon Chaney completists and Insomniacs.

The tyranist's thoughts
Considering how high of a recommendation this one came with, it stunk. Admittedly the transfer on the copy I watched was abominable, but it is hard to imagine that a clean transfer would correct a lot of bad acting and plot points. It was an interesting idea that really just failed to deliver. I might watch it again someday if I can get my hands on a clean, letterboxed transfer, but until then I think I will try to forget it.
