Rish Outfield's reviews
Wait, wasn't that Amityville 2? This was well-written, like the others.
It had no scares, though. A lot of nice sex and nudity. An attractive star
and her husband who is good with his hair down and bad with his hair up .Same
as the others, this was not a great movie, but it had good qualities. I
don't know which was the best, so rent them all.
The tyranist's thoughts
This series is interesting in that each of the three movies was based on a related but pretty unique idea. The first dealt
with someone becoming entrapped by the witchboard, the second was a spirt trying to seek vengeance through the witchboard,
and the third was a demon of a fertility cult trying to find a human host it could use to generate spawn through the
witchboard. Also interesting is that none of the ideas is particularly bad and each of them can pretty much be judged
independent of the others. The third entry was pretty standard fare in the possession department. It reminded me quite a bit
of Rosemary's Baby among others, but it did have a pretty good feel by itself. There
was a moment in the movie when it snowed that I quite enjoyed (wow, that sounds weird now that I am in the light of day).
The plot isn't particularly dense and the characters aren't that great, but on the whole the movie could fail in many
worse ways.
