As students and fans of film, we dig on the yearly awards shows even though the arrogant bastards are often wrong. Still, we find ourselves in a position to do the same thing. So, we have each named a best picture for each year starting with the year the Horror Film Compendium began. Once a year (likely during the annual Holiday Horror Film Festival) we will make a new pick to represent the last year.
Note: If we didn't see it, it ain't up for consideration. However, we reserve the right to change our minds upon future screenings.
