We're huge fans of Stephen King and have been for years. He has a gift for creating worlds that while subtly different from ours, tap into our subconscious and make his stories more real than they should be. In the Mouth of Madness pays homage to this and many other filmmakers have attempted to pay homage more directly to the master of modern horror.
