On a Family History Consultant online discussion list, one of the sisters wrote that she had a new Bishop and was going to meet with him about family history work in the ward.  She asked for suggestions as to what she might do and say that would be helpful.  These are some suggestions that a former Bishop (now working in family history) wrote back:
