DOUBT NOT, BUT BE BELIEVING...

LESSON:  Sometimes when things appear to be going all wrong, even
when you are living righteously, it will work together for your good in
    the long run.

     Boyd K. Packer:

"I have a friend who bought a business.  A short time later he
suffered catastrophic reverses and there just didn't seem to be any
way out for him.  Finally it got so bad that he couldn't sleep, so for a
period of time he followed the practice of getting up about three o'clock
in the morning and going to the office.  There, with a paper and a pen,
he would ponder and pray and write down every idea that came to him
as a possible solution or contributions to the solution of his problem.

It wasn't long before he had several possible directions in which
he could go, and it wasn't much longer than that until he had chosen
the best of them.  But he had earned an extra bonus.  His notes showed,
after he went over them, that he had discovered many hidden resources
he had never noticed before.  He came away more independent and
successful than he would ever have been if he hadn't suffered those
    reverses.

There is a lesson in this experience.  A year or two later he was
called to preside over a mission overseas.  His business was so
independent and so well set up that when he came back he didn't
return to it.  He now has someone else managing it, and has been
able to give virtually all his time to the blessing of others."

    REMINDER:  Have Faith, never Doubting.

"Doubt not, but be believing...(Mormon 9:27).

"...where doubt and uncertainty are there faith is not, nor can it
be.  For doubt and faith do not exist in the same person at the same
time; so that persons whose minds are under doubts and fears cannot
have unshaken confidence; and where unshaken confidence is not
    there faith is weak."

(Joseph Smith, Lectures on Faith, p. 59-60)

"Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."

                                                         (D&C 6:36)
