This Indenture Made the twenty sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four--

Between William B. Whitenah and his wife Mary Whitenah of the town of Groveland County of Livingston and State of New York of the first part and Robert Burns of the town County and State aforesaid of the second part.

Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the Sum of six hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the Second part--the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, remised, released, and forever Quit Claimed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell remise, release, and forever Quit Claim, unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of land, on which the said parties of the first part now live and being bounded on all sides by land belonging to Robert Burns above named, Containing eighteen acres fifty perches be the smae more or less together with another tract or parcel of land situate in the town County and state aforesaid and bounded as follows to wit:

Beginning at a stone in the line of Robert Burns and Widow Magee and running South one degree East thirty seven perches to a stone, being Northwesteoner to land belonging to Joseph Whitenah thence North Eighty degrees East on hundred nad fourteen perches to a stone, thence North twenty degrees West thirty seven perches to a stone, thence South eighty degrees West to the palce of beginning containing twenty five acres be the smae more or less.

Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof: and all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part either in law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and to hold the said premises above described to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part--his heirs and assigns forever.

On the first day of April eighteen hundred and twenty four before me William W. McNair one of the Commissioners to take the acknowledgments of Deeds &c came William B. Whitenah and Mary his wife to me personally known to be the persons described in the within Indenture and they acknowledged they executed the within for the uses and purposes therein expressed. I having examined the said Mary apart from her said husband she acknowledged she executed the within without any fear or compulsion of her husband finging therein no material erasures or interlineation except those noted allow it recorded.
