I saw this fantastic vision of eternity in the form of a Kansas field during a long drive across Interstate 70 in the summer of 1993. I was determined to paint this sea of flowers from the moment I caught sight during my drive. I parked my car well off the roadside and gazed long in amazement and snapped a few 35 mm slides as well. |
