This work is directly inspired by Southwest native American petroglyphs . It is in a very real sense a modern petroglyph as it is assembled from pebbles and shell fragments. This is the second work I have completed using this medium. The pebbles are from the Bandon,Oregon seashore. See works Opus 219,227. |
