In late June I visited a friend who had a summer job on a ranch in Potter Valley, CA. I painted this image of a beautiful barn on the property for the ranch owners.In return I stayed on their ranch for two months, painting many subjects in the area as an 'itinerant' artist. Strangely, within a week of finishing this work the barn burnt to the ground in an intense and frightening evening. |
