Unique stories written by Perry L. Porter.

While on a E-mail list, called Mormon-l, which was run by two young BYU History assistant professors in 1993, I was inspired by the depth of sharing and cohesive brotherhood that swelled and ebbed from time to time. There were apparently some hard feelings among members on the list, which caused me to write my first short story.

A few months later I was reading mail late one night after work and in conversation with a friend composed the story about Christy Lynne, which you can find on her page.

Ok give me a day or two to get more of these together, ok how about a few weeks. (well make that a few months, make that years), but it was not like I had people complaining or anything.

This story I wrote about a neighbor or mine, the story is called Bob.

This shorter story is on my reflections on my Uncle Bill's funeral held a few years back.

From 1994, Steve's Moment at Bat, a story about loving one's children.

We had a dog named Dee Dee, to whom our sun James had become very attached. A short story about a boy and his dog.

This morning Oct. 4th 1994, I traveled south to Delta Utah, for a grave side service of close High School buddy, Dane Rawlingson.
