    Our time in Pennsylvania was brief.  We drove through as part of our marathon drive in the early morning of the 9th, again on the 10th on our way to New Jersey/New York and then stopped in Oakland (formerly Harmony) on the 14th.

Cities & Places we visited

    OAKLAND (Harmony)
    Our only stop in Pennsylvania was to visit the site of the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood along the Susquehanna River near present day Oakland.  The site includes a monument and also the remains of the foundation of Joseph & Emma Smith's home.  
    As we left, we encountered a detour because of a fire on something.   This detour ended up being a beautiful drive through some beautiful country.   Sometimes, it's best to get off the main roads and enjoy the drive a little more.
    After the detour, were back on our way to upstate New York.
