I have strong feelings about electronic piracy and online distribution. I agree on one side that authors and others who produce content deserve to get paid for what they do, and I also agree that information should be freely distributed. A recent article by Tim O'Reilly, the founder of a publishing company, talks about why piracy really isn't that bad, but is a symptom of other distribution methods failing.
