DB has become known on the Utah scene as an arranger and as one of the first-call big band horn players, having worked with such locals groups as Orquesta Pachanga, Salsa Brava, and The Jazz Arts of the Mountain West Big Band. He has played with such artists as Randy Brecker, Phil Woods, Clark Terry, Jon Faddis, Bobby Shew, Poncho Sanchez, Brandon Fields, Frankie Valli, Louie Bellson, Nancy Wilson, Maureen McGovern and The Manhattan Transfer to name a few.
