As we rode down US 26 in Nebraska we came across a field with Camels in it so I took a picture.
We finally reached the Wyoming Border and had to take a picture of the sign.
By mid morning we had about a 10 mile per hour tail wind that stayed with us all day
We visited Fort Laramie. The fort that is there today dates from Civil War times rather than when the trail was being used but the displays about the history of the fort helped me understand the interactions of the indians with those who took the trail
