Work Flow
Task Properties
UML (the unified modeling language) has been developed by the engineering disciplines
over the last few years as a way to completely specify complex relationships between
objects and tasks. Activation diagrams are collections of UML objects connected in
such a way as to represent dependencies between the flow of different tasks. An
activation diagram, in a way, is a fully specified to-do list, including dependencies
between all tasks, ordering, direction and all other information associated with a
workflow. Most commercially available UML editors are outrageously expensive,
and frankly overblown for most engineering needs. The Work Flow Designer includes
all of the objects necessary to create complex activation diagrams in order to spec.
out just about any conceivable construction or engineering project.
