This extremely famous group of mountains is considered one of the
great natural wonders of the world. They stand out from far away
and make a great mountaineering experience.
Rated D to PD or SZ to S (to compare difficulty
ratings please see the menu bar "Choosing a Climb")
Every one of the three mountains has its own climbing characteristics.
The Eiger is a sharp ridge with lots of exposure, the Mönch a moderate
climb in snow and rock, and the Jungfrau a classic glacier climb.
For the individual mountain character please look under each description
of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
4-day Ascent
Day 1: Meet in Grindelwald and take the train up to the Jungfraujoch. Climb the Mönch and sleep in the Moenchsjoch hut.

Day 3: The morning is off to relax, in the

The order of the climbs can be changed and adapted to the current

there was a better chance to summit one of the other booked mountains.
