Rowena Killian Neeley 9/12/29 ~ 4/24/15 Rowena Neeley, beloved wife, mother,
and grandmother, passed away on April 24, 2015 surrounded by her loving
family in the comfort of her home. She was 85. Born in Payson, Utah, on
September 12, 1929, to Glen Ralph Killian and Elva Orlean Cloward Killian,
she married her high school sweetheart, Parley Mitchell (Pat) Neeley, Sept.
10, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. She loved her family and nurtured and
cared for them throughout her life -- taking many trips to Lake Powell,
Disneyland and wherever you can take a contingent of 30 or 40 children,
spouses, grandchildren, etc. She served in many positions in the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, including Ward and Stake Relief Society
President, Primary President, Primary Chorister, and served a mission with
her husband, Pat, in the Michigan Lansing Mission. She is survived by two
sons, and three daughters, Sharon Elizabeth Hardy, Orem; Parley Stephen
(Barbara), North Ogden; Craig Glen (Holly), Salt Lake City; Allyson (Paul)
Green, West Valley; Patricia (Duane) May, Logandale, Nevada; and by twenty
grandchildren, and thirty great-grandchildren with five more on the way. She
is also survived by a brother, Kenneth (Jody) Killian of Erda. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Pat, her sister, Myrna Chapple, and
granddaughter, Nicole May, who greeted her on the other side. We, as a
family, express our special thanks to the many people who helped care for
her, especially her daughter, Sharon, and granddaughters Heather Allred and
Amie Cook, as well as Inspiration Hospice. Funeral services will be held
Saturday, May 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. in the Orem Sharon Park 1st Ward Chapel,
310 N. 100 E., Orem, Utah. Friends and family may call at the Walker Funeral
Home, 187 South Main Spanish Fork, Utah, on Friday May 1st from 6:00 to 8:00
p.m., or from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services at the
church. Interment will be at the Salem City Cemetery. 
She has enriched our lives with love of family, compassion, love of the Lord, and the best example of a Christ-centered life, which her posterity will remember for a very long time to come. We will miss you, Mom, but we know of the great happiness and loving arms that greeted you on the other side.
