What is Bagpipe Music Writer?
Moderator: redbeard@xmission.com (inherited from parent)
Bagpipe Music Writer Gold (BMW Gold) (http://home.istar.ca/~rmm/index.html) is a commercial (~US$100) program for notation of bagpipe music. It runs on PC's under Windows 3.1, 95, 98 and NT 3.51, 4.0. Earlier DOS versions are also available. It uses its own ascii input format and can play the music. The Gold version can export to .mid (MIDI) file format and if you have a SB AWE series sound card it can load it's own sound fonts to the card so that the playback sounds very good.
