Second Annual Climb to Conquer SADS
Mt. Rainier - July 9-12, 2008
Your time may be filled up through the first of the year, and after that…? Consider planning now for a family vacation in the mountains with the SADS Foundation! Please mark your calendars for July 8th through the 12th and join us at the Alta Crystal Resort for the second annual CLIMB to Conquer SADS event!!!
At 14,410 feet, Mt Rainier is the most prominent peak in the Cascade Mountain Range. Mount Rainier National Park, in which it resides, is the site for our retreat and you couldn’t wish for anything more from a vacation like this. From various locations around the park you can see Mt St. Helens, Mt Adams, Mt Baker, and Glacier Peak. On a clear day, you can even see the tip of Mt Hood, in northern Oregon, from Paradise Meadows. You can see a lot more than that if you plan on climbing Mt Rainier with the rest of the zealots! But if not, there’s still plenty to do.
The Alta Crystal Resort is located at the White River entrance to the park, wherein you will find the ultimate summer getaway: a swimming pool and hot tub, entertainment in the recreation lodge, nature walks, mountain bike rentals, volleyball and croquet, horseback riding, good BBQ grub, even yoga classes to get your chi flowing. Not only that but you will be able to meet a lot of families who are just like you—crazy nature lovers and SADS participants. There is no better combination. SADS workshops and seminars are set up every morning for parents and youth.
Click here to RSVP with a 1/3 deposit on your room by March 31st and receive a 25% discount on your entire stay at the resort!
