R.I.P September 13, 2002
Pepper is gone now. She died very suddenly of liver cancer. The day before she showed no symptoms, in fact two weeks before she took a 6 mile hike up the mountains and swam in a mountain lake. Happy till the end, that's how dogs should go.
I was a cat person, until I got Pepper. She was a black lab with maybe terrier mutt I got from the pound. She was the best swimmer I have ever seen. She did laps with me in the Colorado river (I go across, Pepper goes the long way). She was better than most children I have encountered, for example, I will never had to bail her out of jail, she never dated a gang member, nor came home drunk or pregnant. Her and her kids weren't living with me when she was 30 years old, and she loved me unconditionally. Except for shedding, she was perfect.

This is the real reason you came here I bet, to look at cute pictures of my dog. This book is much better than any photo album of anyone's kids because MY DOG IS STILL CUTE, unlike most kids. Without further ado, here is.....
