Backglasses are best protected by storage in the machine head where they are
intended to stay. If the head is placed against a wall or other large
immovable flat surface the glass is very safe. However, if you wish to
remove the glass for storage, or if you have extra backglasses they can be
easily and safely stored in pizza boxes. Stack the pizza boxes on edge next
to each other. You may have to hunt around to find large enough pizza
boxes. This is a safer method than what is commonly done--stacking bare
glasses on edge right next to each other. The bare method can
accidentally cause large scratches just from a small piece of grit caught
between the glasses.
