Mr. Pinball Tip:

Basic tools needed for pinball repair:
  • screwdriver-type sockets--1/4", 5/16", and 3/8"
  • allen wrench 5/32" for flippers
  • phillips and flat blade screwdrivers
  • multimeter--digital is better than analog, but analog works for almost everything
  • soldering iron and solder
  • switch adjustment tools
    • The only tool that is unusual and will have to go to a pinball or coin-op supplier is the switch adjustment tools. A set of these can usually be obtained for under $5.
