A broken blade switch can often be quickly repaired without
soldering! Bend the old switch so that it breaks off at the outside edge of
the switch stack assembly. Do NOT break off the soldered wire side.
Disassemble the switch stack and insert a new replacement blade next to the
old remaining part of the switch. Reassemble and you're done! The new
piece is pressed against the old which is still connected such that no
soldering is needed.
