When restoring Gottlieb roto-targets be sure to mark on the back of each
target the value the target represents before disassembling. Otherwise you
will have to test each target to determine what value it represents. That
testing can be terribly inconvenient when the assembly is in pieces during
restoration!
Target faces should be stripped and then painted with the background color
using enamel. The symbols can then be applied using vinyl lettering, or for
certain games, stickers can be applied without the need for a background
color. Stickers for King of Diamonds are available from several
suppliers.
