Early Bally solid state games were under-engineered on their general
illumination circuits. The female portion of the connector on the A2 power
supply only provides contact on one side of the square pin coming out of the
board. Do yourself a favor and replace these female connectors with a
three-sided type called a trifurcon. They will give you a much better and
more reliable connection.
