The Bally early solid state repair manual is sometimes misleading in the
repairs it suggests. For example if the LED blinks only 5 times, it
suggests checking continuity and voltages on the MPU. The most common cause
for this symptom is a blown F4 fuse (solenoid fuse). Chances are you've got
a bad coil or coil diode.
