Stripped leg bolt mounting plates can be a major pain to replace. A quick
way to get around the problem is to place the new plate over the old and turn the
bolts one at a time until they grab the plate and firmly seat the new
against the old. Keep in mind that the new plate will fall off as soon as
you remove the bolts, and that you really should remove the old and attach
the new to the inside of the cabinet using screws--but if you're in a big
hurry, this will do the trick.
