On solid state machines with male and female off-board connectors,
beware of losing track of which connectors go together. Most are
color-coded and unique, but sometimes you have ones that the wire colors do
not match. To more easily match these place a mark using a marking pen
across the male and female connectors when joined to identify that these two
go together. Some people use stickers or tape, but these usually fall off.
