Some machines with powerful flippers normally will have the ball strike the
glass from time to time. If you believe this is happening too often on your
machine, check that the flipper rubber rings are fitted properly. If they
are too low they will ride up on the lower plastic ridge and give the ball a
lift with each hit. Think of it as a #3 iron.
