Mr. Pinball Tip:

On many electromechanicals you will find under the playfield or in the cabinet a set of plugs or a switch that says "LIBERAL -- CONSERVATIVE". This is usually just an option that controls the amount of scoring, the frequency of an award, and so on. LIBERAL means higher scores, longer games, and more extra balls and replays. CONSERVATIVE means lower scores, shorter games, and less extra balls and replays. 3-5 ball play is always labeled as its own plug or switch, except that sometimes it will also control some scoring, frequency of an award, etc.
