P.C. boards often have foil on both sides of the board with a connection
between front and back at a feed thru (or I.C. pin), sometimes the feed thru
will break--especially after a battery leak! (Remember to REMOVE the
nicad!). Try taking a piece of finely stranded wire and strip back one
strand and put it in the feed thru, carefully scrape the resist off the foil
near the feed thru and fold the wire on each side and solder. If the feed
thru is at an I.C. pin (NEVER solder in an I.C., always use a socket)
be sure to leave room in the hole for the pin.
