Use static protective measures when transporting roms, MPUs, etc. If you
don't have protective foam, bags, etc., just wrap in foil. This puts all
the components at the same potential and this prevents static damage.
That's how the protective foam and silvered bags work.
Caution: If the board has a battery, then the battery should be dead or
removed before applying the foil.
