This tip is an addition to the tip that talks about repairing a dot matrix
display. Yes it is a good idea to repair the display with conductive
epoxy. But I have found something that may work a little better.
Go to your local FORD auto dealer and pick up a REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER
STRIP REPAIR KIT. It consists of one bottle of METALLIC PAINT that is
made for HIGH and LOW current. I myself work for a FORD dealer in Costa
Mesa California that is how I came to know about it. I have repaired my
INDIANA JONES and ADDAMS FAMILY displays with this paint. Up till now the
repairs have lasted almost TWO YEARS and are STILL GOING. You may E-mail me
for the correct part # if your local dealer cannot find it in the computer.
