If your electromechanical or solid-state pinball machine goes immediately to
game over, shuts off, or reboots as soon as a solenoid attempts to fire,
then that solenoid is likely shorted and should be replaced. To verify
this, disconnect one of the wires to the solenoid and the problem should go
away.
