Battery-damage on a circuit board will sometimes follow the wire harness and
damage the harness itself, connectors, and other boards. When you find
battery damage on a board, check all related connectors and
harnesses. If the harness is damaged, you'll have to clip off the damaged
wires back to the point where they are good, and install jumpers to get
enough length for the connectors.
Note that Gottlieb connectors and wire harnesses are more prone to
battery-damage than any other brand.
