If you need a leg bolt you can go to your local hardware store and pick up a
3/8-16 x 2-3/8" bolt (which will work), but it will probably have a flat
5/8" head. The original bolts have acorn heads--a rounded head. The flat
heads tend to get nicks and burrs on them which will scratch you, snag your
clothes, and even give you metal slivers. The acorn heads don't have this
problem nearly as often. Acorn leg bolts are readily available from most
suppliers.
